Citrix VDI
Engineer Requirements
· Managing large scale/ distributed
Citrix infrastructure solution deployments and have handled deployment &
operations
· Customization like enabling multiple
sessions per device for a single user id with session roam into g disabled, the
addition of domain name in Citrix rece,iver, etc as needed
· Storefront load balancing with the
help of DNS A record
· Citrix load balance and evaluator
policy for VDA between physical and virtual servers.
· Installation and configuration of
applications on the newly installed Citrix servers and capacity planning
· Citrix application auto-login
enabled for unattended workgroup system.
· Deploy several VMs from Templates
and customized their configurations as needed. ? Application Testing and
checking compliance as per business requirement
· Solving Citrix Launching
applications issues and also login issues to the server for the users.
· Liaise with other support teams and
vendors to resolve critical issues
· Proactively monitored and respond to
tickets within service level agreement
· Well versed in Citrix XenApp 6.0,
6.5, 7. x. Implementation and administration of Citrix servers, documenting
product and quality procedures.
· Involved in management of Citrix
Infrastructure Solutions, design & implementation of Citrix XenApp Farms.
· Multi-platform experience &
proven skills in publishing applications in Citrix, Load Balancing, Configuring
Citrix Licensing Server, Administration, Installing Citrix, Web Interface /
Storefront, Deploying Citrix Receiver through Storefront.
· Knowledge in Installing/Configuring
Citrix XenApp Server on Microsoft Windows Servers.
· Perform remote administration,
support, and management of multiple Citrix farms utilizing Citrix XenApp 6.0,
6.5, 7. x
· Experience in Citrix Farm creation,
Zone creation, and Citrix Servers installation.
· Publishing Applications/Contents to
users and groups as required.
· ICA client or receiver for web
deployment.
· Enabled Session sharing against full
load on the servers in XA 6.5 environment.
· Ensuring optimum availability of
published applications and servers.
· ICA client set up, Licensing, Load
balancing, and User Policy management. Good exposure to XenApp Printing.
Maintaining the health of the Citrix farm and all infrastructure components in
a Citrix Farm.
· Proficient in analyzing information
system needs, evaluating end-user requirements, custom designing solutions, and
troubleshooting complex information systems management.
· Polished leadership skills with the
ability to motivate teams to increase productivity.
