Performance Test Engineer: Technology
Specialist who understand project/program level from performance testing
perspective and execute strategy with close collaboration across different
teams.
Follow SQM PLT common practices for
performing Initial Review meetings to gather requirements.
Analyze requirements to determine the
performance test strategy needed to successfully implement performance testing
on the requested application/services.
Document and
achieve approval for the SQM Performance Test Plan for the requested application.
Develop
automated performance testing scripts to simulate load on the requested
application.
Coordinate
needed test data, environment configuration, schedule test runs, notify all
interested parties, and pass all PLT reviews for testing artifacts.
Configure and
Execute performance test scenarios.
Order, collect,
and analyze performance test results and produce executive summaries.
Participate in
peer review.
Creation,
revision, and maintenance of PLT Common Patterns Documents
Self-educate on
and comply with existing common patterns.
Maintain PLT
requirements and knowledge base information to help with decision making and
guidance.
Suggest and
implement process improvements that will accomplish team, department and
business goals.

Desired
Competencies/Experience:
8-10 years of
Performance Testing experience with expertise on LoadRunner and JMeter.
Experience on
working with performance monitoring tools like HP SiteScope
Experience on
working with APM tools like Dynatrace.
Experience of
Performance Load Modeling.
Advanced
knowledge of LoadRunner & Performance Center Experience
Experience with
Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
Experience
working in an agile engineering environment
Experience with
HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQUERY, Angular JS. (understanding)
Performance
monitoring, tuning and analysis experience.
Demonstrated
strong leadership skill.
Strong
analytical & problem solving skills.
Technical
understanding of application ecosystems, including integrations, data flow and
access control.
Strong written
and verbal communication to lead meetings and present to stakeholder.
