Software Engineer - COBOL
Analysis and
understanding of existing / reverse engineering.
Work
collaboratively to prepare test environments.
Working
collaboratively to establish the Endevor environment model.
Validation of
transformed programs thanks to Unit Tests.
Technical
approval on Mainframe application.
The mission
takes place in a Franco / English language environment with strong interaction
with the teams in France. (Extended team model).
DevOps oriented
workgroup (mainframe IDE + TSO / 390).
Desired Competencies/Experience:
Professional
experience in COBOL MVS (7 years minimum compulsory).
Knowledge of
COBOL, DB2, SQL, JCL, MVS, CICS, LCM, ENDEVOR, IBM z / OS tools.
Complementary
knowledge in NATURAL ADABAS is a plus.
Standalone to
read documentation in French. (Read).
Ability to analyze existing applications and to make them a back-documentation.
Ability to
establish a technical test book.
Ability to
understand and take ownership of a data model.
