Roles and Responsibility

Conducting business process analysis activities, including reviewing and recommending policy changes and insight into best-practice methodologies.

Map current and desired processes with detail showing the various process steps and who is performing each step. This includes mapping out very complex and at times dysfunctional processes that have arisen over time in an organization.

Translate business requirements into functional specification documents.

Implementation, functional testing and functional training, and project execution.

Willingness to travel to client site (up to 75% of the time) and to work both independently and with a team to deliver high-quality functional consulting services.

Establish positive, professional relationship with client staff; inclusive of professional demeanour, conduct, and appearance.

Establish proper communication channels with client personnel and respond appropriately to all client concerns.

Conduct/participate in status team meetings.

Provide Project Manager and client management with ongoing progress reports according to the project charter, or at a minimum on a weekly basis.

Understand and adhere to established project management policies and procedures, including meeting project budgets and scope, project status reports and project documentation.

Contribute as appropriate to the development of project scope and structure.

Contribute to the management the project goals and client expectations.

Required Competencies/Experience:

2+ years working in project teams in software installation, implementation preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.

ERP and/or CRM experience preferred.

Student Information System experience preferred.

Relational database management including queries, reporting, and administration desired but not required.

Demonstrated experience conducting presentations, conducting one-on-one and/or on-the-job training, classroom training and/or online/webcast training.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with project management software preferred.

Previous experience with other software applications such as database and reporting programs preferred.

Ability to adapt easily to working with new technologies.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Excellent presentation and training skills.

Good to have experience in UML for designing and documenting business process.

Proven effective listening skills.

Able to quickly establish rapport, gain and maintain credibility with diverse audiences.

Self-starter with troubleshooting capabilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
