Job Description:
A Marcom
Programs Mgr IApply communications thinking and planning, expert writing and
editing skills, project management expertise and knowledge of audiences and
vehicles to advance HP's brand image, build awareness or generate demand for HP
products and services.
Plan, message,
drive and measure communications strategies and programs to end-user customers,
channel partners, alliance partners and resellers.
Focus may be
global, national, regional, sub-regional or local in scope.
Ensure programs
align with HP's brand identity and messaging framework.
Specialist:
Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business
issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives.
Works on
problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope.
Exercises
independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to
identify and select a solution.
May act as a
team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates
information validation and team decision-making process.
Ability to
handle most unique situations.
May seek advice
in order to make decisions on complex business issues. BA or BS in
Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
5 plus years of
experience in direct marketing, communications or marketing.
