Job Description:
Strong Knowledge
in Infotainment testing including bench level testing, vehicle level testing
and Feature interaction testing.
Good Hands on
experience on infotainment features like Tuner (AM, FM, DRM, HD, DAB and DMB),
Media, Connectivity features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi , Android auto, Carplay,
Navigation, Telematics features and system functions like Diagnostics, Network
and Power Management.
Strong knowledge
of Automotive System Architecture (Software and Hardware).
Very good
experience in automotive communication protocols CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet.
Good Knowledge
in any of the scripting/programming languages - C, C++, VB Script, Python, CAPL.
Good
understanding on the certification process for Bluetooth, Carplay and Android
Auto certification is an added advantage.
Understand the
OEM requirements and their interface with the existing system.
Develop and
execute test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on executing tests in
real vehicle environment as well as using code to solve technical challenges
and shorten the test cycle through automation.
Good
understanding on SDLC and STLC.
Good experience
in Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Retesting and Full feature testing types.
Should have
managed technical coordination with the customers and coordinating proposals,
schedules Contribute to vehicle testing events in our customer premises.
Support customer
in creating Test logs, reproducing the issues, Defect Analysis.
Manage and
execute tests in automated test environment; report test results on test and
defect metrics.
Execute tests in
real vehicle environment; report test results on test and defect metrics.
Interact with
customer, product management, project management and development teams to build
a strong understanding of the product and testing objectives testing all
aspects of the product/system like function/component, system, performance, robustness
and regression.
Skill Set:
Understanding
Customer Requirements (SPSS) / SRD documents and perform Functional Testing of
Driver Information / Infotainment ECUs.
Involve in Test
Script Update and keen to work towards Automation.
Involve in Test
procedure development for new feature requirements.
Perform
Functional Black Box Testing of Cluster and Infotainment Features.
Knowledge
sharing to team on features worked.
Need to
participate in Defect Triage meeting and demonstrate the issues identified to
Requirements & Development Teams.
Use of tools for
Testing, Defects Management, Configuration Management.
