          Data Engineer - Analyst / Sr Anaysts


          The team

          • This role is part of the Business Systems team which is part of the Government & Public sector. The team is responsible for designing and driving different solutions for different teams at different levels. With a focus on innovation, we continuously seek ways to enhance and optimize existing deliverables and create new solutions.  The team is uniquely positioned in practice to identify and implement next-generation solutions. Professionals in this process are responsible for assessment, design, development, testing,  enhancement, implementation, maintenance, documentation, and support of new or existing tools and applications. The team drives the implementation of end-to-end solutions and analysis that provide our clients and leadership with the consumable information and insight they need to drive better business decisions, and address challenges.

          Responsibility

           

          • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code using python and R
          • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
          • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
          • Implementation of security and data protection Integration of data storage solutions
          • Work on Python libraries, including Matplotlib, NumPy, Pandas, etc.
          • Design, build and maintain dashboards and interactive reports in Tableau and other BI tools.
          • Experience in the development of database objects including stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
          • Establishing data management standards, procedures, and best practices while data cleansing, data wrangling, and data mapping
          • Strong foundation in modeling, statistics, analytics, mathematics and Computer Sciences. Ability to understand data structures using computer programs/algorithms, explain complex data architectures to prepare data for analysis, and make sense out of data
          • Experience in reviewing query performance and optimizing code
          • Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions would include standard and custom features, field types, content types, external content types, Web parts, site columns, list creation, workflows, layouts, Lists, and Libraries.
          • Experience in design and development of applications using the .NET framework
          • Proficiency with C#, .NET, MVC
          • Familiarity with API Creation,RESTful services, and CI / CD.
          • Ability to quickly understand the needs and create quick solutions and become comfortable in communicating to stakeholders
          • Independently design, develop, test, and implement simple to complex automation solutions per business requirements.
          • Develop reusable components, scripts, and frameworks that drive efficiency for future projects.
          • Experience in coding, object-oriented and modularized software
          • Strong work experience in VB Script, Java, JavaScript, XML,  SQL, Python and should have utilized this skill set in multiple projects.

           

          Qualifications


          • Bachelor?s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
          • 2-4 years of Experience with Python,R,SQL,ETL
          • Demonstrate strong communication skills to translate technical software solutions to non-technical clients
          • Ability to consult and direct on clients? needs for automation centered around business processes
          • Advanced written, verbal analytical, and communications skills required
          • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
          • Familiarity with systems development lifecycle (SDLC)

          Key Skills


          • Experience developing and using Business Intelligence Tools  (Cognos, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI)
          • Proficient in SQL, Python, R
          • Good to have skills on Tableau,Cognos,Power BI,Qlik,.Net.
          • Experience with working and modeling in multiple types of database (i.e. SQL, Mongo,Snowflake etc.)
