Job Summary & Responsibilities
Client Implementation Management (CIM) team sits within Client Operations and has primary responsibility for all reference data at an account level and is the starting point for an account's relationship and lifecycle with GSAM. By ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data, we facilitate the business in achieving desired objective for all aspects of account onboarding, portfolio accounting, cash management, client reporting. You will obtain a comprehensive knowledge of products, markets and market related setups. You will also drive initiatives and provide solutions that will have an impact on client experience and risk mitigation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Understand and implement client's requirement by liaising with internal and external counterparties to ensure seamless transition and onboarding to GSAM
- Coordinate and manage tasks across a multi-disciplined team to ensure all operational information relating to an account event is received and systems are set up prior to account trading activity.
- Develop strong working relationships with Institutional/ Funds/ Retail SMA oversight teams, Trade Management, Sales, Trading desks, other onboarding teams and Engineering
- Become a risk manager by ensuring data integrity and challenging where required
- Influence account setup and structure decisions by providing guidance to Business
- Engage in opportunities to review processes, analyze information, make decisions and recommendations and implement and monitor procedures
- Provide reporting to senior leadership and produce insightful analyses of the business upon request for management.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Previous experience in Operations and/or Financial Services industry- Relevant work experience of 1-2 years
- Be highly collaborative and team-oriented
- Demonstrate strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be motivated and hard working
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong risk management focus.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines and broad based coverage
- Knowledge and understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and adaptability to other software products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to think strategically, drive consensus and influence decision making
