- As an individual contributor or member of a project team support successful implementation of network automation projects
- Provides technical input to the overall architectural and operational discussions around network automation infrastructure and tools.
- Act as a network developer to developer to develop innovative solutions and write python and Ansible code/Itential on daily basis.
- Act as an active contributor in delivering our products in time by participating and delivering work through scrum practices.
- Conducts research, design and implementation of Network infrastructure Automation solutions and build standard practices across enterprise operations.
- Make contributions to other Network automation solutions that enhance the operations and cost structures of the Client environment
- Create and make available project documentation with a focus on communicating technical features and functions of solutions
- Works closely with department leadership and service providers to support alignment of plans with solution delivery
- Participates in and suggests improvements to standards configuration, change management processes and practices
- Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects and tasks

4. Must have skills: [Skills which are mandatory]
- 5+ years of advanced scripting experience using Ansible,
- 3-5+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, YAML, Java, PL-SQL.
- 3-5+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
- 2-5+ years of experience with source coding in one or a combination of the following: GitHub or SVN(Subversion), Experience with creating and or updating technical design documentation used by engineering team
5. Nice to Haves: [Skills that would be a plus, but are not mandatory for the role]
- 2+ years of writing template - Jinja / YAML /Python along hands on experience in Orchestration platforms, Ansible configuration, Writing playbooks etc.
- 2+ years in Git, Jira, Jenkins usage and integrations.
- 2+ years of Networking /Network Automation Experience.
- 2+ years of Networking protocols
- Good understanding of DNS, Firewall and routing/switching skills.
- Good understanding of ITSM tools like Service Now
