ROLE: Manufacturing Technician
Exp Level: 3 to 5 Years
Np - 15days to Immediate
JOB PURPOSE:
As part of CI Factory Production Engineering team, Manufacturing Technician is required to support development and selection of Assembly Jigs & Fixtures, Perishable tools, Lifting fixtures, Gauges and Templates. This incumbent will be working in shift pattern in-line with Production team to meet increased Customer demand.
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for Continuous Improvement at Assembly Line and Sub Assembly
- Process change request: for Intentional changes.
- Safety risk assessment & Improvement: SFMEA Validation & REBA Analysis.
- Layout Optimization: Reduced material transfer time & Touch points.
- Process standardization: Poke Yoka & Error Proof process.
- PMD Document management: SWS/SWES, PFMEA, SFMEA and Control plan.
- Engineering Changes coordination with user teams (Operations, OPEX, M.E & Engg.).
- Perishable tool management: DC Tool, Click wrenches, Pneumatic tool & Electric tools.
- Capacity utilization: Work on projects/Improvements to maximize OEE.
- Process audit to validate PMD documents & Tooling?s.
- Line balancing (end-to-end) based on Takt time.
- Tooling & Equipment Purchase and installation: From quote till final handover.
- Performs Clamp load test of all running models critical bolt joints with Angle torque.
- Process improvement to reduce Field issues & Inline problems.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
- B.E / Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production / Mechatronics engineering.
- B.E / Diploma candidate with 3 to 5 years of work experience in Heavy engineering / Automobile / Manufacturing industries.
- Good communication skills are expected. Native level in Tamil and Basic level in English.
- Good computer skills [MS office tools] and Basic Analytical skills.
- 3D Modelling & Visualization: Modelling (Creo) and Visualization (Team centre Viz mock-up)
- Good knowledge on read & interpret drawing with complex GD&T symbol.
- Need better communication skills, Critical thinking Skills and Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent follow-up and attention to detail.
