Role: Traffic Control Analyst:
Exp - 3 to 5years
Np-15days to Immediate
As Traffic Control Analyst, will be responsible to manage end-to-end Import / Exports operations to ensure timely delivery of materiel for smooth production.
Ensure adherence to trade regulations, corporate policies and practices by working effectively with appropriate functional areas to maintain a high-velocity material flow.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage & Control activities on material pickup, load planning & transportation activities for all inbound shipments.
- Ensure strict adherence to trade compliance & legal requirements.
- Identifies areas of possible cost savings, service improvement with carriers and implementation of cost effective solutions.
- Ensure freight payment process (validation, freight processing in CBS, and data entry activity related to master and CBS database) are managed and paid within credit terms
- Create and maintain PO, Service Accounting Code and tax condition for different types of services (Import / Export / Domestic) related to transportation service providers
- Meeting SOX and statutory audit requirements for freight payment process and governance with Internal customer and external service providers
- Freight Invoice grief governance and resolution within the time frame.
- Freight payment and accounting MIS reporting on weekly and monthly basis
- Manage Insurance Claims on import and export shipments
- MIS reports
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors / Masters in Supply Chain, Logistics stream
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant job experience
- Experience in Supply Chain / Logistics or Transportation Management
- Working understanding of the various materials systems and how they interrelate
- Capable of working and communicating with a variety of company (all levels) and Supplier personnel
