Purpose of the
RoleResponsible
for
Responsible for
proto build & Rework/Retro fitmentactivities on the mechanical perimeter
and support on control plan build DVP
Support shop
floor manager for daily work management of proto vehicle build activities
Ensure vehicle
build process is adhered and track concern resolution finding the first level
of root cause analysis
Coordinating
with design team, vehicle integration, and internal shops to execute the
planned action in projects
Vehicle
PDI,Static and Dynamic inspection,diagnose and trouble shooting
Follow of work
order management,safety & environment
Job
Responsibilities
"1.
Responsible for Prototype vehicle build and re-build, and minimal testing
activities
2. Responsible
for Proto vehicle teardown and re-build with report for all proto types after
completing the testing vehicles.
3. Support and
adhere to vehicle build process and continous
4. Support for
validation & measurement of vehicle major aggregates like clutch, tire,
brakes, etc.
5. Take
responsibility on the fault diagnosis on the mechanical perimeter and ensure
the vehicle is up in mean time
6. Knowledge of
vehicle PDI (static and dynamic) inspection is an added advantage
7.
Defect/Vehicle diagnosis and rectification in prototype vehicles.
8. Support
Vehicle ride & Handling performance drive for dynamic issues in prototype
vehicles.
9. Technical
tuning/handling of various systems and sub systems in vehicle. (Engine,
Transmission, Brakes, Suspension, HVAC etc.)
10. Should have
involved in many trials like tire tuning, Suspension tuning, Brake efficiency,
coast down, performance, vehicle durability, etc
11. Knowledge on
complete vehicle strip down activity for benchmark vehicles
12. Support the
lead for mule vehicles development in all new vehicle projects
13. Propose
strong abilities to find field failure root cause and rectification. fitment,
fouling, accessibility and quality issues of each part
14. Participate
in the test trials at different phase of proto development at pan india
location for altitude, environmental testsVehicle execution as per internal
customer/Supervisor requirement
15. Creating
report daily, weekly, and monthly MIS & following the Work order system
16. Ensure the
vehicle build quality of activity, First time right and every time right
17. Handling of
all garage equipment's(2 post lift, Wheel alignment, Tire assembly, Tire
balancer, etc...)
19.Co ordinate
with internal COEs and on time support
20. Handling
break down vehicles with QRT
21.Maintain
5s,Discipline in shop floor"
Job Specification
QualificationBE/ Diploma in
Mechanical/ Auto mobile
Experience4-6 years with
automobile OEM experience
