        Job Title : ETL  Datastage Developer

        Location : Bangalore

        Shift timings : 10 AM to 7PM IST

        Contract Duration : 8 Months

        Np- 15days to Immediate

         

        Job Description And Principal Responsibilities

        Responsible for development and maintenance of ETL code using DataStage. Strong in PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripting.

         

        The Shared Services Service Consultant, Applications for Reconciliation is responsible for develop and maintain computer programs and processes. Design and develop change resilient application code and execute robust effective testing. Ensure expected business requirements and related benefits are delivered within appropriate time/budget parameters. Comply with Technology mandates as they relate to methodology, process, and compliance.

         

        Experience

        •  Bachelor's degree or equivalent
        •  5 - 8 years of Datastage experience is required
        •  Experience in Performance tuning,
        •  Experience with project feasibility, definition requirements, design, testing and project delivery.
        •  Experience with Agile project methodologies.

         

        Required Skills

        • ETL development using DataStage 11.7
        • Experience working with XML transformation and consumption of messages from queues
        • Exposure to DevOps practices
        • Strong in PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripting
        • Ability to pick up other ETL tools when required
        • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
        • Proven problem solving and organizational skills
        • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
        • Work in a manner in keeping with the Northern Trust company?s core values
        • Fast learner
        • Self-motivated

         

        Preferred/ Recommended Skills:

        •  Experience in Trading and/or financial industry
        •  Understanding of reconciliation functional knowledge is a big plus
        •  Any experience with the TLM product
