Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out supplier Qualification and Process Audit.
- Support new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards
- Should have Sound knowledge on APQP, PPAP and Quality tools.
- Should have Product & Process knowledge in Plastic, Rubber & Sheet Metal components.
- Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes (ECN) related to current products in meeting customer requirements
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues
- Sound Knowledge in Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving tools
- Hands on Experience on Chargeback the suppliers for Quality issues & taking Corrective actions.
- Support the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system.
- Should locate and define new Process Improvement Opportunities.
- Capability to visualize the Production / aftermarket business operations.
- Should be able to do Basic Data Analysis, and expert in MS Office.
Qualifications, Experience and Competency Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
Text Box Experience
Essential: 5+ years of experience in Any Quality Domain, automobile industry.
Desirable: Experience in Supplier Quality
Specific Skill Requirement
Experience in Supplier Quality
Ability to coordinate with Suppliers for Audits, Quality Concerns, Change Management & PPAP.
Basic Knowledge in Quality Tools & Methodology
Should be self-driven and to work cross functionally.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office ? PowerPoint, Access, Word with advanced Excel knowledge
Language Requirements - English.
Travel Requirements
Travel on Business need.
