Role for DevOps Engineer:
Assignment:
Exciting project developing a quantum logistics optimization product on a dynamic global team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes on prem and cloud clusters for our applications and services.
- Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IAC)
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks
- Collaborate with our teams to deploy our applications and services and to ensure that security (DevSecOps processes and practices) is integrated into the SDLC
- Monitor and maintain cluster, container, application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices, processes, and tools.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related field.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes cluster design, build, management and security both on prem and in the cloud
- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration tools such as Helm or Kustomize
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Rancher and Docker.
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio, Consul
- Strong experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Experience working with remote on and offshore teams.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools like SonarQube, Netsparker, OWASP ZAP, Nessus, Tenable, and jdeps
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, a can and will do attitude
