Logistic Executive

JOB PURPOSE:
A part of OHT Factory
Operations – Logistics, this role will
support Logistics and will drive enhanced communication and
collaboration with supplier stream and
Customer partners. To support for systematic activities of and
to improve Operational Excellence in Logistics, like Accounting
and governing Consumables cost and MHE’s spare spend details on each month ,
NC/RW00 parts movement and accounting of parts in location, Supplier to Dock
parts improvement and validation of Parts, Handing over bills to BR and
maintaining relevant records, Governing NC/RW00 parts on weekly basis,
Governing packaging improvement on periodic basis, Governing MHE’s maintenance
schedule, Doing required transactions in CBS on MM module, Part preservation in
virtual locations
JOB
DUTIES:
· Planning of the consumables for every month based
on the machine volume and management of pull based consumable delivery based on
the stock to avoid inventory
· Logistics Analysts responsibility would include
understanding the requirements of the organisation for the
requirement of Consumables, pares for on regular production based on
the variable production volume and NPIs.
· Daily duties may include interaction with other
relevant team members for understanding the requirements, changes against
action completed and amending the governance report periodically.
· Need to listen, discuss, and collaborate
with the next immediate internal customer for gathering inputs for improvements
in packaging, storage methods and configurations.
· Need good CBS knowledge on WM & IM module
· All SAP related notifications (SUT Creation, Scrap
notification, Breakdown notification).
· Concentrate on the opportunities
for consumable, R&M and Scrap cost reduction
· PR creation and Service entry
for Logistics related services and material procurement.
· Manage inventory of indirect materials
(production, maintenance, and quality) and initiate procurement
accordingly. Coordinate with indirect purchase team for the timely receipt of
materials and service.
· Collaborate with Process partners for any
challenges in procurement, Parts ordering, and invoicing.
· Tracking all cost related data for
the Logistics WH.
· Accounting of invoices on time (within a month) special
track for manpower service and invoicing.
· Planning and execution of weekly training to the
team.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
• Logistics Analyst may qualify for positions with
bachelor’s degree or Diploma
• Need Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply chain
field such as Warehousing, Supply Chain Planning
• Should have knowledge in SAP(CBS), Expertise
in SAP – WM & IM is recommended
• Need better communication skills, Critical thinking
Skills, Organizational skills, Problem solving skills
• Strong MS Applications skills
• Strong analytical skills – able to identify
anomalies in data and solve them quickly and effectively
• The job requires advanced organization skills, as
analysts must keep several databases and spreadsheets detailing the various
elements and aspects of storage and kitting
