Full job description : Job Description-Control-M Batch Scheduler Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, testing and migration of Opcon batch schedules into Control-M batch workflows.
Responsibilities
- Takes requirements to then build/convert OPCON scheduled into Control-M Batch Schedule.
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions to the scheduling conflicts.
- Diagnoses, isolates and de-bugs issues under Control-M scheduler.
- Create new jobs Distributed in Control-M, Build and Manage job flows calendar requirement and scheduling criteria.
- Passing parameters to control-M job, creating job dependencies and alerts as per application team and business requirements
- Knowledge on Distributed Control-M Scheduling
- Experience with batch scheduling tools such as CONTROL-M Mandatory
Skills and Abilities
- Experience supporting applications through a job or application scheduler tool
- Experience working with job scheduler tools such as Control-M
- Working knowledge with all platforms (Windows, Unix, Linux)
- Possesses a general understanding of systems programming, graphical user interfaces (GUI)
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop partnership-oriented relationships with business executives and functional leaders, especially as it relates to operations and technology
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike
- Experience with project management a plus
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels
- Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units to manage conversion deliverables.
