Roles and Responsibility

Job Title: Gasoline Calibration Engineer

Experience Required: 5-8 Years

Notice Period:  15 days to Immediate 

Location: Pune

 

Job Purpose:     Gasoline Emission and OBD calibration reference person for project development, homologation, quality, external supplier (components, engineering services)

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  •         Responsible for Emission and OBD calibration contents release aligned to deliverables and project milestones
  •         Reference person in case of activities provided by an external engineering company
  •         Reference person for homologation department for Emission and OBD verification test, support during preparation test and homologation measurement


Required Qualifications / Experience

  •         Bachelor of Engineering from an accredited university
  •         Minimum of 5 years combined work experience in the same area
  •         English: Advanced

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Gasoline regional emission legislation: procedures, cycles, legal limit, on field monitoring
  • Understanding of Electronic engine control unit, hydraulics, mechanics, electronics
  • Hands on experience in powertrain calibration
  • Good driving skills for vehicle calibration activities
  • Familiar with engine calibration tools (ETAS INCA, SCAN Tool)
  • Measurement analysis (ETAS MDA, AVL Concerto)
  • Good understanding on Fuel system & exhaust gas system
  • Good exposure in engine and vehicle SW functionalities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Conflict and crisis management
  • Preferred Qualifications  Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics   Engineering
