Job Title: Finance Manager

Experience Required: 10-16 Years

Notice Period:  15 days to Immediate 

Location: Gurgaon



Summary

We are looking for an experienced finance manager, with the ability to work and lead in a fast-paced, complex and challenging environment, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with focus on accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

 

 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Record / process accounting transactions:
  • Establishes a month close process, record accounting entries and transactions as part of period close activities.
  • Processing vendor invoices, employee expenses, statutory payments, salary payments and obtaining payment approvals.
  • Record intercompany transactions as part of monthly financial reporting / close process.
  • Identify and post any GAAP adjustments post agreement with onshore finance teams.
  • Work with onshore finance team to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial results and timely completion of all regular accounting transactions per the close schedule and published requirements.
  • Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Ensures the accuracy and integrity of the books of account and the financial information generated.
  • Supports the preparation of regulatory, statutory reporting, month-end and year-end close process.
  • Full knowledge of GST and WHT implications, deductions, deposits and return filings
  • Support to the Tax consultants for completion of local, state and government reporting requirements including tax filings. This will include support for transfer pricing compliance and annual Income Tax return filing.
  • Provision of financial results to support preparation of overall consolidated results in accordance with agreed format/timelines.
  • Focus on Statutory and Tax audit along with finance leader and supporting audit completion with  Statutory auditors.
  • Works with onshore finance team for the annual budgeting exercise. Prepares and reviews the annual budgets with the functional teams and Finance leader.
  • Prepares cost reporting
  •  budget vs actual variance analysis.
  • Enables preparation of Headcount Governance with HR team.
  • Ensure compliance with SEZ/STP reporting requirements.

 

Requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to work and lead in a fast-paced, complex and challenging environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with focus on accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Big 4 experience for 1-3 years will be an added advantage.
  • Candidate should be open to occasional travel based on client requests.
  • CA with 5-7 years? experience, or
  • Commerce graduate with 10-12 years experience

 

 

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Strong financial aptitude with 4 to 6 years of work experience having exposure to General Accounting, Finance control, taxation, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and other transactional Finance activities.
  • Working knowledge of local Indian financial reporting and tax compliance requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Maturity/handling confidential information
  • Knowledge of Indian GAAP and taxes as the candidate be responsible for completion of both statutory, tax audit and transfer pricing certification in a timely manner with no audit observation.
  • Experience of working on SAP is must.
