Roles and Responsibility

Job Title: Network R&S

Experience Required: 3-6 Years

Notice Period:  15 days to Immediate 

Location: Bangalore



Network Support Services Activities 

 

  • Monitor the DC DRC Core Network, Security devices, WAN links Availability & performance proactively with tools like NMS and customized scripts and processes at the project site.
  • Change & Configuration management of DC DRC Core Network, security devices & WAN links as per customer CMR process.
  • Configure and trouble shoot Cisco high end routers, switches, Juniper routers and switches, Checkpoint firewalls and Fortinet Firewalls.
  • Change & Configuration management of Cisco FTD Firewalls and F5 Network Load balancers and WAF support.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports as per standard templates.
  • Maintain static IP list and IP address schema for internal & external networks
  • Maintain VLAN details of DC and DRC network.
  • Troubleshoot IPSEC and Getvpn issues and configure the same at DC DRC and Branch devices.
  • Management of Cisco ACS server, configuration and troubleshooting of load balancers and IPS devices.
  • Coordination with vendors for any support and follow escalation matrix till closure of the calls.
  • Prepare and maintain up to date inventory of all network devices.
  • Prepare and maintain up to date SOPs and High Level Network Diagrams.
  • All changes in the client environment should be done in coordination with client network team with proper approvals and change management process.
  • Log and resolve Network related issues with Vendor co-ordination.
  • Provide Detailed incident report as and when required based on incidents.
  • Logging calls, Vendor co-ordination for WAN Links and Network hardware support with respective product vendors or suppliers and tracking till closure.
  • Coordinating with 46 NAP locations in resolving network related issues of branches, ROs and circle offices.
  • Provide suggestions and recommendations for new requirements.
  • Problem Management for repeated Incidents.
  • Closing of VAPT observations as informed by customer's audit team quarterly.
  • Configuration Audit for all core devices at DC, DR and NDR
  • Daily Failover testing for critical links, and weekly failover test of critical devices as per calendar approved by customer.
  • Periodic IOS upgrade of core network devices as per advise from IBM support team.
  • Firewall rule optimization through customer provided tool.
  • Monitoring IPS logs and reporting critical events to customer for further action and maintain up to date IPS signatures.
  • Maintaining daily, weekly backups of DC, DR, NDR and Branch devices through customer provided tools.
  • Creating configuration jobs in customer provided tool to roll out mass changes across the network
