Job Title: Performance Validation Testing (Compiler Developer)
Experience:
2 to 12 years
Location: Bangalore
Notice period: Immediate to 15days
Roles &
responsibilities:
· Responsible for quality and timeliness of result
for performance and functional validation of compiler, this is time critical
task and requires ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Define, develop, execute CPU performance tests, and
integrate them with automation infrastructure
· Hands on experience in functional validation and
performance validation of HPC application
· Port HPC applications and open-source applications
to make them work with AOCC compiler .
· Experience porting applications on both Linux and
Windows will be an added advantage
· Hands on experience in performance validation using
SPEC CPU2017 is using compilers like ICC/ GCC/AOCC is an added advantage
· Validated debugging and analysis skills, for root
causing sophisticated issues at both application and system level
· Hands on experience with tools such as VTune, perf,
GDB, profilers
· Compiler performance analysis/development/bug fix
experience is an added advantage
· Should take ownership of daily functional and perf
tests and their execution and bug reporting
· Define test plan and test new compiler front end
and back-end features.
· Should be able to enable code coverage for compiler
and try to address the gaps by adding black box tests like applications or try
to enhance already added tests cases or add new test cases
· Good understanding of PC hardware, BIOS, Chipsets,
Graphics cards
· Should be a good team player, quick thinker,
pro-active, adaptable & outspoken/approachable.
· Must communicate well both written and orally
· Must
be well-organized and should be able to multitask well with due diligence on
closing his/her tasks.
