Job Title: VBA/Macro developer
Experience: 3 to 5 years

Role: Data Analyst/VBA Expert
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop VBA macros to reduce manual efforts spent on program tasks/reports
- Conduct thorough testing for macros to ensure accuracy & support change requests
- Provide training & support to end users on effective use of macros and SQL queries
- Write SQL queries to retrieve data from database tables and create analysis report
- Perform data research using database reports and develop actionable steps for process improvement
- Work on large data & study the impact of key metrics and report data that helps management in effective decision making
- Study the complete process flow and identify requirements for automation
- Design, develop, and implement VBA macros and scripts to automate repetitive tasks and optimize business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide tailored VBA solutions.
- Leverage VBA to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
- Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through VBA automation.
- Work closely with end-users to understand pain points and develop solutions that enhance productivity.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing VBA code to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for VBA solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all VBA code, ensuring a clear understanding for future reference and collaboration.
- Work closely with IT and other teams to ensure seamless integration of VBA tools .
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a VBA developer or similar role
- Ability to develop VBA excel macro using VB pre-defined functions/loops/procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent understanding of object oriented/event driven programming concepts
- Working knowledge of advanced excel skills includes the ability to create graphs, tables, perform calculations and VBA excel automation to process large volumes of data
- Good to have knowledge in any one of the databases like MySQL/Oracle
- Proven experience as a VBA Developer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in creating complex macros.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and automation principles.
