Roles and Responsibility

Job Title: Senior Charm and Release management analyst

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Bangalore

JD:

·       Skills Summary: Solman, Change Management, Basic Configuration, System Preparation, Managed System Configuration. Experience in SAP, Non SAP Systems and Solman 7.2 , Solman 7.1, SLD configuration, LMDB configuration

·       Ability to configure Solution Manager 7.1 and 7.2 End to End

·       Experienced in setting up a Solution Manager environment for Charm for 3 system and 4 system landscape

·       Integration of SOLMAN with ticketing tools like Remedy, Jira etc.

·       Solution documentation, Change Management functionalities and workflow

·       Knowledge and experience in setting up  ChaRM  using SAP Solution Manager

·       Working knowledge of end to end Software Development Life cycle (SDLC), ITIL and Release Management process.

·       Experience in Retrofit, downgrade protection in Solution manager

·       Familiar with Focused Build and Focused Run

·       Proficiency with various software applications including Outlook, Microsoft Powerpoint,  Microsoft Word and Excel

Skills List & Experience:

·       Knowledge of SAP CHARM, QGM, ITSM configuration in SAP Solution manager

·       Hands on SAP Basis experience with ECC 6, EHP8, S4 Hana, SLT and Fiori

·       Basic SAP functional knowledge and ABAP programming

·       Experience with SAP release planning, communication, scope preparation, validation, co-ordinate testing activities, and release deployments to ensure that changes are safely migrated into Production environment.

·       Should be involved in the SAP Release Management activities to handle the transports movement throughout the landscape with different SAP components.

·       Should have inter-personal skills to work with various projects & business stakeholders in handling the release management activities.

Typical tasks:

·       Setting up SAP solution manager for change management.

·       Day to day support for Charm

·       Release planning, communication, scope preparation, validation, co-ordinate testing activities, and release deployments to ensure that changes are safely migrated into Production environment.
