Responsibilities:
· Design, configure, and implement
network access policies (NAP) for securing network resources.
· Develop and maintain a deep
understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
· Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
· Configure and manage network access
control lists (ACLs), firewall rules, and VPNs to enforce security policies.
· Monitor and analyze network traffic
for security threats and vulnerabilities.
· Conduct regular security audits and
risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
· Investigate and respond to security
incidents, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective
actions.
· Provide technical guidance and
support to junior engineers and network administrators.
· Stay updated with industry trends
and best practices in network security.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· 3-6 years of experience in network
security, with a focus on network access policies.
· Proficiency in configuring and
managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
· Strong understanding of network
protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
· Experience with network security
tools and technologies such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, and endpoint security
solutions.
· Knowledge of industry standards and
frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.
· Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot network security
issues.
· Good communication skills, both
verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to
non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently and
collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Relevant certifications such as
CISSP, CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
