As an IT
Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various
aspects of data centre operations, with a focus on incident, problem, and
change management. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth functioning of
data centre infrastructure and systems, as well as facilitating effective
communication and follow-ups with stakeholders.
Key
Responsibilities:
· Monitor and respond to incidents
affecting data centre operations promptly.
· Maintain incident documentation and
reports for analysis and improvement purposes.
· Identify recurring issues and root
causes impacting data centre performance.
· Lead problem investigation and
resolution activities to prevent recurrence of incidents.
· Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to implement long-term solutions and improvements.
· Review and assess proposed changes
to data centre infrastructure, systems, and configurations.
· Coordinate change implementation
plans, including scheduling, testing, and risk assessment.
· Ensure compliance with change
management policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
· Serve as the primary point of
contact for data centre-related inquiries and updates.
· Communicate effectively with
internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders regarding incident, problem, and
change statuses.
· Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure
timely resolution of issues and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
· Maintain accurate records of data
centre incidents, problems, changes, and related activities.
· Generate performance reports,
metrics, and dashboards to track operational KPIs and trends.
· Analyze data to identify areas for
improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Skill
requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in information
technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· Proven experience (3-5 years), with
expertise in incident, problem, and change management.
· Strong technical background in data
centre infrastructure, networking, and systems administration.
· Proficiency in ITIL (Information
Technology Infrastructure Library) practices and frameworks.
· Excellent communication skills, with
the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
· Strong organizational skills and
attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
· Experience with ticketing systems
like ServiceNow, incident management tools, and IT service management (ITSM)
platforms.
· Ability to collaborate and work
effectively in a team environment, as well as independently when required.
· Strong analytical and
problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
· Certifications such as ITIL
