Key Responsibilities:
· Understanding Non-Functional
Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand non-functional
requirements related to performance, scalability, reliability, and responsiveness
of software applications.
· Test Plan Development: Develop
comprehensive test plans, workload models (WLM), and test case repositories
(TCR) independently, ensuring alignment with project objectives and performance
goals.
· Script Design and Development:
Design and develop UI scripts, REST API scripts, Kafka scripts, ESB Services
scripts, and MQ scripts using Micro Focus LoadRunner. Implement performance
testing for various protocols including Java, Citrix, MQ, Oracle, and other
relevant technologies.
· Micro Focus LoadRunner Expertise:
Utilize expertise in Micro Focus LoadRunner to conduct performance testing not
limited to web services (WS) but also other protocols such as Java, Citrix, MQ,
Oracle, etc. Perform script debugging, parameterization, correlation, and
scripting enhancements as needed.
· Performance Analysis: Execute
performance tests, monitor system performance metrics, analyze test results,
and identify performance bottlenecks, resource utilization issues, and areas
for optimization. Collaborate with development teams to implement performance
improvements.
· Documentation and Reporting:
Generate detailed test reports, including findings, recommendations,
performance metrics, and test execution summaries. Document test procedures,
scripts, configurations, and performance tuning strategies.
Qualifications
and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, or related field.
· 5+ years of experience in
performance testing, preferably with expertise in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
· Strong understanding of
non-functional requirements and performance testing methodologies.
· Ability to develop test plans,
workload models, and test case repositories independently.
· Proficiency in designing and
developing UI scripts, REST API scripts, Kafka scripts, ESB Services scripts,
and MQ scripts using Micro Focus LoadRunner.
· Expertise in performance testing for
various protocols including Java, Citrix, MQ, Oracle, etc.
· Familiarity with performance
monitoring tools, APM solutions, and log analysis.
· Excellent analytical,
problem-solving, and debugging skills.
· Strong communication, collaboration,
and documentation abilities.
