Roles and Responsibility

Job Title: SAP PI PO Consultant

Experience: 8-10 Years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Bangalore

JD:

Key Responsibilities:

·       Work in the core areas of Interfaces including understanding PI architecture, designing, developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting integration solutions.

·       Utilize knowledge of System Landscape Directory (SLD) and alert framework for effective integration management.

·       Configure and work with various connectivity options such as File, JDBC, JMS, IDOC, RFC, PROXY, HTTP, SOAP, REST, and OData adapters.

·       Implement B2B integration using standards such as EDIFACT and X12, ensuring seamless connectivity with external partners.

·       Handle complex mapping scenarios using graphical mapping, User-Defined Functions (UDF), Java mapping, and XSLT transformations.

·       Implement and integrate ALE, IDOC, BAPI, and RFC interfaces for SAP system integration.

·       Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and provide technical expertise for SAP integration solutions.

·       Develop and maintain technical specification documents for integration projects.

Required Skills:

·       Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO architecture and components.

·       Proficiency in configuring and working with various adapters including File, JDBC, JMS, IDOC, RFC, PROXY, HTTP, SOAP, REST, and OData.

·       Experience with B2B integration using EDIFACT and X12 standards.

·       Expertise in designing and implementing complex mappings using graphical mapping tools, UDF, Java, and XSLT transformations.

·       Technical experience on at least one SAP PI/PO implementation project.

·       Good understanding of ALE, IDOC, BAPI, and RFC interfaces for SAP system integration.

·       Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical specification documents.

Preferred Skills:

·       Experience with SAP SLD configuration and alert framework setup.

·       Knowledge of SAP PI/PO monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.

·       Familiarity with SAP B2B add-ons and EDI solutions.

·       Experience with SAP ABAP programming for custom enhancements.

·       Certification in SAP PI/PO or relevant SAP modules.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

·       SAP PI/PO certification (preferred but not mandatory).
